Lou Ferrigno, the actor best known for his portrayal of the Incredible Hulk in the 70’s & 80’s television series The Incredible Hulk, has committed to attend the Phoenix Comicon.

“The kids can’t get enough of Lou Ferrigno lately; he’s had a massive resurgence,” said Marketing Director Anabel Martinez. Though Lou Ferrigno was very popular for playing the Hulk in the series, today he is more famous for being himself, especially on the television show The King of Queens and in the movie I Love You, Man.
Born and raised in New York, Ferrigno started weightlifting at the age of thirteen. After placing in a number of bodybuilding competitions, he was cast as the role of David Banner’s angry alter ego, The Incredible Hulk, in a popular television series and subsequent movies.
“I always think it’s fantastic somebody that strong can be that nice of a guy and have fun with the role he’s best known for,” said Convention Director Matt Solberg.
