Win a copy of Mission of Honor.

By Shawn Scott Smith| July 2, 2010 | 27 Comments

I’ve got 15 arc copies of this awesome new novel from David Weber, Mission of Honor to give away to you the lucky readers of con-news, courtesy of the fine folks at Baen Books. How do you win? It’s pretty simple. Just leave me a comment here telling me what your favorite convention to attend is, and use a valid email address so I can contact you if you win. I will pick a few lucky winners each day for the next week as we celebrate the next chapter in the Honor Harrington series. Don’t want to try your luck? Well you can buy the book directly from Baen here.
Contest only open to residents of the U.S. and Canada.

My favorite convention would definitely PAX over in Washington. Just the vast amount of stuff they cover in the span of 3 days makes it worthwhile to fly down there!

The only convention I really enjoy is DeepSouthCon. It is one of the only Sc-Fi conventions that has been close enough for me to attend.

Definitely the San Diego Comic Con, although it’s steered away from the comics the past few years and morphed into an “entertainment con”.

It is a hard choice between E3 and AnimeExpo. Seeing as both of which are huge parts of my life, I cannot really say that one is better than the other because you cannot really compare “Anime and CosPlay” to “Video Games and Electronics”, mind you, I don’t CosPlay, but it does seem like it would be pretty fun to have people stare at you for hours and hours on end… Tingly Spine!

My fave con was AusCon 88, for a first timer, it was very memorable.

    And thanks for the contest!
