Potlatch 21 names Book of Honor

Potlatch, a small literary-oriented convention, names a Book of Honor rather than a Guest of Honor. This year’s honoree is A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller, Jr.

Canticle, about a post-apocalyptic future in which artifacts of the present day become holy relics, won the 1961 Hugo Award for Best Novel. Potlatch asks: “Does this post-apocalyptic vision of the future still hold up today? Join the discussion at Potlatch 21.”

Potlatch 21 will be February 24-26, in Seattle.
