Hotel Update
We’ve experienced unfortunate delays processing room requests with the DoubleTree, so nothing has gone out to anyone yet. The major delay has been the hotel, who needed to place a new reservationist. They now have one now, so we should start processing requests within the next week. We are glad the delay is finally over and hope to finish by the end of April!
In the next few weeks, those with DoubleTree requests will receive a confirmation email from the DoubleTree for your actual room reservation. Once you receive that confirmation, please contact the DoubleTree and guarantee your room.
- If you don’t guarantee your room, your reservation may be cancelled without notice.
- You can guarantee your room via credit card and nothing will be charged to your credit card until you check out.
- If you use a debit card, the hotel will pre-authorize the amount of your stay when you check in, and those funds will not be available to you. This is standard hotel procedure.
- If you guarantee the room via credit or debit card, and abandon your reservation without calling to cancel, the hotel will charge the first night’s stay. This is also their standard. Read more
